Dr. Erin Stayton was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She obtained an associate’s degree at Oklahoma City Community College before traveling to Stillwater to pursue veterinary medicine. She graduated from Oklahoma State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and returned to Oklahoma City to work at a small animal and exotic practice. 

After two years, she returned to OSU for a residency in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology. During residency, she became interested in a rare blood borne parasite, Babesia conradae and published a paper documenting its emergence in Oklahoma. 

After her residency at OSU, she accepted a position in Tulsa at Veterinary Associates where she practices veterinary medicine and specializes and in cases involving lumps, bumps, tumors. She loves meeting new people and new pets!  

Vet Associates has four veterinarians.  Vet Associates practices preventative medicine, encouraging regular wellness visits in order to help pets live long, healthy lives.  The veterinarians are experienced in treating acute and chronic conditions as well as emergencies.  The facility has dedicated surgery and dentistry suites supported by state-of-the-art digital x-ray and ultrasound equipment.  In addition to high a standard of veterinary care, VA offers boarding as well as grooming.  We’ve served Tulsa since 1973! 

Think & Drink is like a TED Talk, but enhanced with alcohol. Someone with a deep understanding of a specific STEM field will provide insight into their field, research, or related topic. Presentations are informal and discussion is encouraged.
